Fatti03msp's Build Thread

i've used both the stock rail and the perrin rail and the stock injector o rings suck no matter how you look at it.

i was holding 19-20 vac and they still where leaking when i had the stock intake mani and perrin fuel rail.

but ya the 626 ones are WAY CHEAPER and better.

not sure why the make the outside of the seal ribbed like they do, its like they want them to leak

total shipping cost for the 626 injectors from advanced was 7 or so bucks

the factory protege ones where like 20 a pop, so 80 bucks in just shipping threw advanced for them plus the cost of them.

Good info on the Injector seals, I just replaced mine and have a stock mani but will probably change them again anyway.

ya they are so much better.

but got my FD wheels in for AutoX, going to paint them white. Been wanting to try out white wheels. Might not look bad, but with the black painted lip kit it might clash a lil.

325 shipped for them, couldn't pass them up.

Hope these new FDs are the reinforced kind then, although i'm sure they are if you've already got one cracked set.

lol it will be clean one day, just doubt it for daytona. Was supposed to have friday off to work on the car and wash it real good, but the other douche i work with called off.

but i did get the injector seals in and installed them, seem to be alright. Just finished up with it 30 min. ago.

Dam top o ring broke on the on the injector. So i start it up and fuel every where. Luckily i had like 8 packs of injector seals so i was able to fix that quick.

He paid for faster shipping and they haven't came in yet..

I went today at 130 and they had them, they arrived yesterday. The dumbass at the counter didnt look good enough for them.

but seals are in, no more bridgeport FS haha

Thought my boost would have been back up but its still at 9, ill have to mess with it again tomorrow

Also got my Rota Torques on today too, not too happy with them though. Have a lil poke and i had to use my bad 205 tires on them. Which make the tires stretched. 17x8 so ill be getting some Hankook V12's soon

and finally had the rear lip from sanders car put on mine. So no more bad peeling rear lip.

Picture of the awesome 626 seals on the right and the bad protege one on the left

Also had my buddy joey install my clunk fix brackets, first bolt we touched just snapped thanks to having a car from up north :( so i took it to joey so he could work his magic.

Did you get the clunk fix in? Sorry that I was too strong for your rusty bolts lol. Car looks good though, 205's FTW! :P

Anyone know if the plug n play harnsee from crossover will work with older Haltech ECU's?

Found a deal on a older style haltech and thinking of just going standalone.

Also got a cool lil piece in too.

Sam's plug and play ecu harness is just that an ecu extension harness. You still have to wire it up or pay him a extra 275 to do it. All it does is basically allow for quick removal and installation of the stand alone. That and it keeps you from hacking up your ecu harness.

Need to give into the hellaflush mang....205 on an 8...lol

shut your mouth lol, every time i look at my car im just disgusted. Cant wait to get some tires for the FD wheels and get those on. Stupid stretched tires and poke

O ok, i saw he had a plug and play setup for 1500 and i thought maybe the harness thing he was selling was the plug and play harness he used for that 1500 dollar kit.

been awhile since i did anything with the car, still have the starting problem cause of the safety switch for the clutch. Tried just jumping but no luck. Batter was dead but i had silverado hooked up to it for 30 min so i doubt teh batter was the problem.

Any buddy do the safety switch delete before? I want to have it hooked up to a switch though just so if someone jumps in my car they dont start it and it lunges forward.

but got the car ready for the following few upgrades today.

Turbolife fmic
full size rad
aluminum solid rad hoses
Removed fogs and installing fog deletes, cutting out the honeycomb on one to make a ram intake.
