Fatti03msp's Build Thread

not looking to drop that kind of money to be honest, im just going to stick with a 225

but swapped out my injector seals for 626 injector seals and that fixed my problem pretty much. The auto parts store only had one set in stock so im waiting for the other 3 to arrive but just by changing the one i gained back 2psi and my idle dropped from 1200 to 850 so that was nice.

The 626 injectors are WAY better and beefier too, thanks ryan for the advice.

also went to put on the clunk fix brackets and first bolt i went to removed snapped right off, stupid car from up north haha.

haha, im just going to start calling you instead of posting the forum next time.

but i used vasoline, the other 3 seals should be in on the 25th and then off to daytona for the rolex and dyno

lol that sounds like a awesome idea. i have a great track record of solving your msp problems =). How much boost are you running? i want to see how close my whp estimates of your car are going to be. Also what type of dyno is it and how's your tuning lol

I was at 13psi before the 505 intake mani, i fixed the one injector and gained back 2psi so right now im at 10.

its one of those traveling dyno's so im guessing its a dynojet.

My tune is a street rune i did, its pretty steady at 12.5 and then around 6k it drops to 11.5-12.

at 13psi i should be over 250whp, im still running that hiboost fmic though.

I'll probably dyno mine too. I want to fix my lean issue though....just to be safe. It doesn't lean out while in boost so thats good.

And just for the record, I told him his injector seals needed to be replaced a few months ago. So don't take all the credit Ryan lol

i think you might be around 270+ depending on your timing and how well the dyno is calibrated.

he did replace them with regular protege ones and they still leaked. You didn't tell him to buy the fat doughnut 626 lower injector seals or it would of been fixed a long time ago =P. The 626 seals are they key with the 505 mani i dont know why but the regular ones just don't seem to do the job.

lol ya you did give me the heads up before, but ya the regular protege seals are garbage.

im on stock timing running the SSAFC v2

lol i spent month's battling with a vacuum leak on injector number 3 thats how i know how to fix it.

that was the one that was giving the biggest problem, i just changed that one and my idle dropped like 300 rpms. Tomorrow the rest of the injectors seals come in so lets hope that will solve my problem.

Yea man just lube em up when you put em in and when you put the rail in make sure you squeeze it down good when you tighten the bolts

sounds good, the injectors that are using the protege seals i can twist them in place, the one with the 626 seal wont budge.

My regular protege injector seals were crap when I replaced my manifold to the 505 (They were hard and dry-rotted). I bought some replacements at the parts store because my OEM ones were not going to be in for a few days and I needed the car. But I dont have a vac leak and it seems to hold vacuum. I pul 9.9-10.4 PSI constantly. So there isn't a leak, also the idle is really good around 700 rpms. I dont have a ERG so I get a lean start up that causes some issues but im going to try to get that fixed soon.

not sure if you have the perrin fuel rail or not

but me and ryan do, so it might be something to do with that... or you just go lucky
