Faint Hum from dash

Hello everyone. I have had my CX5 for 3 months. I bought it in the winter and never heard any noise from the dash when the engine is off. I am now noticing that there is a very faint hum from the dash when the engine is off. I have come back to check it approx 45 minutes later and the hum is still there. It sounds similar to what a pc sounds like. Just a faint hum that can only be hears from the interior dash area. It cannot be heard from the outside of the car

The only change has been that I am now using the AC when previously it was winter and I only used the heat. No other changes to my use of the vehicle have taken place. I am concerned that it may drain the battery.

I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks

Can you post a video with sound? I know the servo for the throttle body sounds like an old dial up connection. If you have the HID headlights sometimes the high voltage ballast can produce a high pitched whine. Can't tell without a sound clip. Cars make a lot of sounds that are totally normal.

Update:

There is no way that an iphone will pick up the sound. I did notice today that if I sit in the car for about 3 minutes with the engine off and doors closed, its goes off. If I open the door and close it again, the sound return for another 3 minutes. I thought that is was simply staying on the whole time but it was because I opened the door. I am not sure what it is but I am no longer concerned since it does go off after a few minutes.

Opening the door triggers some things inside the car, the dome lights, the dashboard lights, the powered seat, the fuel pump etc. So which one is it in your case? The seat? The fuel pump? Just guessing here.
