F@#K I need help

Not sure if this is the right forum, but anyhow after waiting a ******* month for my header to get here from spd I finally decide to put it on lastnight. I start this thing about 6:30 after a s*** ass day at work get all the rusty bulls*** off of the car and install the CEL fix, so I'm thinking o.k. got the hardest part done the rest will be cake,slide the header into place get under the car while my wife is up top holding everything still and I tell her to push the header back so I can connect where the two springs are at. Low and fuckihng behold it's 2 inches to short (**** this s***) I'm yelling under the car tools are flyin so I crawl back out to take a look at top of the header,warped flange,egr tube does not line up,and my biggest concern is the O2 sensor,I've got the stock exhaust manifold back on now but will having the CEL fix installed already on the O2 sensor hurt anything since I now have both convertors back in place? and I called discount auto to get a price on a new 02 sensor just in case I can't use the one with the cel fix on it ($288 ******* dollars) wtf!(bang)

first it wont screw it up, second an o2 sensor is like 60 bucks.

install it, run open header with the exhaust and the gap stil there over to an exhaust shop. they can connect the dots.

as for the MIL hurting anything, it shouldn't

^ what he said. might cost you 50 bucks or less to have all the s*** connected.

yeah...again the MIL fix will not hurt it...you are just keeping the voltage coming from the second 02 sensor constant...so if the primary cat did **** up (or in your case got removed) the ECU will never find out about it...thats the point...even if the cat is in place, it doesn't affect anything...

but a warped flange is bad news...if it isn't mounting flushly with the head, you are going have some seriously annoying issues...such as detonation, horrible noise, and all kinds of bending studs and s***...look into that, if you got a not so choice header shipped to you, let the vendor know about it...before they say it was fine, and you caused the warping by poor installation...
