Qwik, those ambers look good in the DRLs, and I bet they're a lot more noticeable than the plain white too. How do you like them in person?

I still like the softness of the frosted bulbs on the plate, but I think I like the colour a little better on those WLEDx5's that speed6 dude used. How do you like the frosted ones? I wish they came in a warm white.

The amber looks in person just like it does in the pictures.
The frosted ones arent too bright and a little bluish. I took those out and put it cool white like the ones you put in your doors. They look much better. A very clean white with better light output than stock.Since im stuck with only 1 red bulb I am going to use it in my boost gauge to light it. Should look very nice :)

How the heck do you replace the dome lights?? Trying to pop off the lenses didnt work. Tried to pry it off from the headliner and it felt like I was gonna do some damage.

Yeah, you have to take the whole panel out and it's a B1TCH. I have done it a couple times, and still end up denting the edge of the housing when prying. There's a great how-to at TM6 which I used here: http://forum.torontomazda6.com/viewtopic.php?t=37

The biggest PITA is the metal clip, which you have to poke around and find, then bend back enough to pull the housing down.

Ok thanx. Got them off. Didnt see those 2 screws on the front one :)
I put the frosted cool white in the front and they look great. Nice clean tone and makes the interior glow. In the rear I just put regular red bulbs. Not that bright but not the leds.

For those who have used the 194 Frosted Bulb for the trunk lights, do you think they would work well for the interior overhead lights? I want new ones, but $10 for the Tower II, I don't know about all that!

I love the frosted in my overheads. Not too bright. A nice glow kinda like moon light. I tried taking pics but my camera isnt the best in the dark.

I should have been more patient, I bought the $8 dollar bulbs for in there instead. I would have rather used $3 bulbs, but OH WELL! Paypal is going to take a long time to clear all the transactions, so who knows when i'll get all my lights in.

Don't feel bad TX, I like the brightness of the other ones in the overheads, I'm sure you will be happy with them. In fact, I might even do one more order from Superbright, since they updated their website and now include colour temp of the LEDs... no wonder I liked the WHP best, it's a near-perfect 4500K!

I love lighting/electrical mods.....(flash)

Sexy. Love the tail lights. Are those glass neon tubes for the halos? I have a set but yet to install them. How do you mount them to the inside of the headlight?

those are cold cathode tubes, with out the outer protection tube.
they're made by umnitza (daylight demon eyes, or dde)
to open the housings, i bake them in a 220 degree preheated oven for 20 minutes.
notice, my eyelids are mounted inside the housing too.....

Them amber parking lights are nice, Where can I get some at?
I also like those halos they are clean.
Where can I get some eye lids from?
They will go on my 2006 mazda 6s.

Darn you, Bigbaddad, you out-LED'ed me! :)

I like the tails a lot, I've been considering ordering a pair, but haven't convinced myself yet. Actually, I don't think I got the glovebox either, I'll have to check that out!!

bigbad... lol, ok, good point. :) You know what's funny, I always meant to do the glove compartment, and then I totally forgot until I saw that you had done it. Now I'm all over it!

speed6 dude... that's great, but make with the pics already!!

Just ordered the frosted white 194's myself for my tail lights :) Are those bulbs easy to change out?

Should just be a matter of pulling the carpet back and removing a few screws to get access to the light. Which bulbs are you replacing in the tails?

The license plate bulbs, it looks easy, just a pop off cover .. on my Suby (Legacy) I had to remove a ton of crap to get to them.
