S Stealth5 It's SABOTAGE Contributor : 02.5 Protege5 Aug 3, 2002 #1 i was wondering how much of a gain in hp and torque i could expect from a k&n air filter
Z ZoomZoomH Member : a Mulligan Aug 3, 2002 #2 just about none..... if you're talking about the drop-in filter... however it will make your engine sound louder, and throttle response just a tad faster. that's about it. can't expect major gains from a $35 filter

Antoine Administrator Aug 3, 2002 #4 Depends how good the stock intake system is? It's not like some of these aftermarket intakes with the filter in the engine compartment are better...sucking in all that hot air...you can't go wrong with a K&N.
