Dont know if anyone has asked anything of this nature yet but im going to put together an exhaust system; muffler, catless dp, just normal 3in pipe. Do i have to get the S pipe as well? I only know of a few places to get a 3"Dp, are there anymore sites/people that have these? Any info bout what im doing is good/bad? Joe

If your budget is limited, just go to an exhaust shop and have them replace your OEM piping with custom 3" pipe and a stainless steel flex hose.

You don't have to change out the Callaway s-pipe. It works just fine as it sits now. 3" is a bit of overkill on a stock or near stock MSP.

You could look at the ghl s-pipe to get the setup started, and have the rest of the exhaust custom made.

I would do a 2.5 dp unless you have plans to go really big one day. The 3" will only add more noise to your exhaust. The same goes for your Cat Back. If you are looking to go over like 250 at the crank then get 3" otherwise 2.5 will be fine. It is also quite a bit cheaper then 3". I did a catless 2.5 to a 3" thermal catback. I am still amazed how good it sounds... I am not going to mess with the s pipe, cause the new hiboost manifold is a way better route to go..
