okay every one after christmas im looking at getting a full kit with headers so my question is what are the best type of headers i know ken has Obx. i have seen other also just wondering if there are any differnce in them and what size exhaust should i get im looking at a 2.5 inch diamiter. like the megan exhaust or somthing like that

Intake, header, catback exhaust and an underdrive pulley.

Their all pretty much the same, I think(??) OBX is the only header still being produced.

do i have to do the CEL fix on these headers like the others? and i dont have the oney at the moment so yeah

money wont be required till after the holidays...if ya read the thread..and no u will not need a CEl fix...this has everything welded into it so no CEL fix needed

okay thats what i was gonna ask about that to!! i dont have emishions laws in AL so i might go with the cat less one

emission laws FTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i wanna go catless or gutted cat so bad. but ive heard about how the car will sound like it has a hive of mad bees under it if i went either.

but idc i still wanna do it lol

cuz its still a cat lol.
thats what ill probably end up doing. getting the midpipe from protege garage with the vibrant high flow on it.

Why not just go with a high-flow cat?

I read an article about this in Sport Compact a while back. They tested a catless midpipe vs ceramic core catted midpipe vs metal core catted midpipe. This was on a 1999-2000 Civic Si (don't remember exactly which year).

The catless pipe scored 2 whp over the ceramic cat and 1 whp over the metal cat. Honestly, if you have the money, be responsible and get one with a cat.

how much louder is the catless vs. HP cat?? i too live in AL and am not too worried about emissions. i just dont want it to be nasty loud=(the signature honda "weed-wacker" or "tin can" sound).
