exhaust problem

hey guys..i have some problem of my exhaust...
there are som brown thingy inside the exhaust..you can see it easiler from out side..i tried to clean it and scratch it...it still doesn't work..i just got my p5 for 4 month....how come???
what's the problem?? you guys have anything like this???

I've had my p5 for almost six months, and inside its exhaust tip is rusting. The back of the muffler is starting to get those oxidization beebees. Only the "stainless" tip surround isn't oxidizing as much. I've noticed the rusting problem on other pro5s on the road with the stock exhaust.

I might try Flintz, a polishing compound, on the inside of the tip. My ma's used that stuff to take off silver oxide off her flatware and is non-toxic. I have no clue where you can buy some without staying up to see cable access at three in the morning. Otherwise I might use some Rust-Oleum paint. If that doesn't work Extend rust destroyer by Permatex (Loctite Corp). That will do the job because that stuff eats through rust and bonds with the steel and dries black. I've used Extend on rusted bodywork with sexy results.

If those don't work I hope the hell I have enough disposable income to get a stainless cat-back exhaust...

does anybody have the same problem??
how do you guys solve it??
do you think i can complain to mazda dealership??? cause the car is only 4 months......i might get the repair free...hehe

I had the problem almost a month after I bought the car (might be the Canadian weather), and I took it back to Mazda and they said they'd clean it off temporarily, but they wont' do anythign about the rusting. Well, whatever, they did clean it off that time, but it rusted again in like a week or so, so I just said forget it ... it's just a crappy little pee-sized muffler so I dont' really care. Maybe i'll get a cat-back exhaust when the whole thing falls off
