I just went through all of this myself. Here is what I came away with that I will now pass on to you:
DO NOT LET HER BE THERE WHEN YOU ARE MOVING OUT!!!
You will pick up something she wants,start to pack it, she will give you "the look", maybe cry a bit, and you will leave whatever it was there for her.
NO GOOD WILL COME OF THIS, she will end up keeping more stuff, you will never see it again.
trust me. I am now minus 1 TV and 1 couch because I let him be there when I left.

Why is she sane? She's asking you to be without everything except the bare essentials so she can use them. F-that. Also, the longer you wait to get your stuff, the more legalities start to get invovled that will make it harder for you to get them.

I would highly suggest calling the police or better yet a lawyer and asking if/when you can pick up your stuff without her being able to stop you.

He nailed it. She needs your stuff. I was the nice guy when I left my wife. And because I was nice she hasn't paid her child support in over a yr! I woke up one day and realized that being the nice guy only gets you screwed. I filed on her last month, she should be getting papers soon, I wished I could see her face, 520.00 a month for dec 03 to now! GYSAG!
