Everyones occupation

I work for the worlds largest IT research and consulting company and am a technology analyst, with a focus on Workstations.(Extremely high-end technical PC's used for designing cars, runnning flight simulations for the military, and medical imaging)

I'm a pimp. I b**** slap my ho's from the corner of Harry Hines and Northwest highway, all the way to the corner of Harry Hines and I-635. I have 23 ho's under my wing, and I'm moving in on 2 more in the next couple of months. My business card says, "That b**** betta have my money!".

Just kidding, I work for the 3rd biggest Engineering firm in Dallas and I'm also an engineering student. I just b**** slap ho's as a hobby.

Computer programmer / sys admin / hardware guy for the FAA. The program I work on is called Micro-EARTS...basically it's an en route flight tracking system.

I work for an online trading center for electronic components...I basically deal with brokers and distributors all day...

I'm in the Air Force. I work as a crew chief for C-130H model cargo/ transport plane. I'm in charge of the whole plane nose to tail when it's on the ground, I fly on it whenever it goes off station so I travel a lot. I mean a whooole lot.

All:

My turn, huh? I am a Senior Systems Engineer (aka Consultant) working for a Value Added Reseller (VAR) in the NorthWest suburbs of Chicago. I do pre/post-sales work. It sucks to be in Consulting - at least in Chicago right now. Can anyone recommend any "good" counsulting/var companies in IL or even in the Houston, TX area? I am thinking about moving my family there.

Oh yeah, my other job is a husband and father of three girls, bill payer, blah blah blah.

Previous cars (in order):

2002.5 Protege 5 (Current)
2001 Acura Integra Type-R (made it waaay fast, not practical)
2000 Mazda MPV (still have)
1999 Acura Integra GS-R Sedan (black ice=crash)
1999 Acura TL 3.2 (3 kids don't fit in back seat)
1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (4 months then gone, American)
1997 Honda Civic EX (woman=crash=rebuilt=sold)
1995 Volkswagen Golf (wifes car, first stick I learned on)
1995 Mitsubishi GSX (the original Fast and Furious, s*** quality)
1993 Chevrolet Camaro V-6 (First car to mod)
1990 Geo Storm (My first car)

P.S. I recently added up all the cars and mods I have done over the last 10 years, and s***, I could of owned James Bond 007 BMW!

You know with all these professionals in here we could likely take over the world as a group!

Seriously.. I think we've got EVERY base covered... from military ops... to the technical/electronics/computer field... to people who know how the gov't works... etc etc... we could do some REAL damage!!! we could take over the world and make EVERYONE drive a protege or variation there of!!!!

ok.. maybe not...

Right now I'm in the Corporate Administration Dept. of a financial institution and bank called IndyMac, and I'm in the process (only a little less than a year of school left) of getting my AS in Information Technology/Computer Networking as well as several certifications... got my first computer when i was 7.. mom taught me a few DOS commands she knew from work and well, as they say, the rest is history...

but i had NO IDEA that so many other "computer guys" drive proteges/p5s/mp3s... must be because us dorky computer nerds are actually, in reality, stylin and profilin... lol... I'd like to take a poll.. see how many owners are in the computer industry.. in fact.. to be even more specific.. the computer networking industry...

10 years of business-legal networking experience
ummm, how many years of (west coast) talent with the phone company, etc.

IT Project Manager/Systems Integrator over here. I've been doing this for 5 years and counting. I also have an M.S. in Computer Information Systems. :D

Financial Analyst for Ford Motor Company.. I deal with exporting US made parts to South America, Asia Pacific, Denmark and Mazda :)

O.K. O.K. Here we go. I work in a Title Company where I'am responsible for the transferring of Grant Deed's/ Trust Deed's in the new owners name. Making sure ther are no forged signatures and such. Very exciting!:bs:

Well, my title is an Information Systems Technician. I work for a small company called Logis-Tech,inc. We build control systems that control ADU's (Air Dehumidification Unit's) to keep the air in Shelters or vehicles (mostly military, but going more commercial with Self Storage places)at a constant 50% Rh (Relative Humidity). I used to build the contol systems and help monitor them out in the field, but now I'm in the IT dept. I deal with a lot of hardware/software issues, set up new computers/programs, still monitor many of our 250 sites in the U.S. and some over seas, and help out our LAN Engineer when asked/needed. Been here for almost 5 years now and love it. In the meantime I'm a father of an 8 month old and a husband to a wonderful wife. I also go to school part-time, finishing up my Bachelors, only a couple classes left!!!!! And, that's all she wrote!!

Well hell, everybody is throwing out their degree's too, I might as well add that in there. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology, although I have never even considered a job using it, I spent my five years earning it. I have always loved car audio and I took a job with a buddy as a "break" when I graduated and I never left the field. I have recently partnered up with a guy, we bought a piece of commercial property and are in the process of renovating it, we are going to open a performance/audio/accessory shop. Hopefully we will be ready to open by late spring early summer. Ok, I'm done now(spin)
