Even More Cool News From The Sub Install!!! REAR STRUT BAR??

When we took out the kenwood custom inclosure it left open bolt holes that could theortically be used for a rear strut bar...of course it would have to be custom fabricated but i believe its possible.....my and the guy who does my work , he has a gti 337 that walked my mustang DAMN FAST....he said that its most likely possible to get one made to fit those bolts where the kenwood sat. Im gonna check it out and get back to everybody if this sounds like something you would be interested in me finding out. Later

i heard there was a metal "brace" of sorts that went through the plastic kenwood thingy.

is this true?

and could that brace be left in once the plastic and sub and amp have been removed?

do you have any pics of all this nonsense?

i agree with slug420.
i remember reading somewhere that the enclourse itself acts as a brace/strut like bar to re-enforce the flex on the car.
But if it's able to house a strut bar, great!
Even less flex.

I guess it could be there for that im not sure how to describe how it looks it bolts in to each side of the car in 2 seperate areas im not sure how it goes through the enclosure at all but if this is true teh rear strut bar will do the same thing just look cooler i guess. Oh well i wanted a system ill get a rear strut bar one day, just not sure how that kenwood system is doing it. Later
