Euro 2006.5 Cadillac BLS

BLS is a legitimate European sports sedan with proper ride and handling that helps bridge the difference between U.S. tastes and European needs. Besides changes to the damper rates, the engine mounts and bushings are less dense, and the insulation from road and wind noise exceeds the 9-3. There are three 9-3 engines of interest to us: two 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbos, one making 175 hp, the other 210 hp; and a 2.8-liter, 255-hp V6 turbo from Holden. Both the six-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmissions from the 9-3 are available for European BLS buyers. The BLS estate will arrive by mid-2007.

Performace may be ok but it looks like a cross between a Kia Optima and a Nissan...all of them I guess.

I think Caddy needs an entry level car to compete with the Acura TSX and other entry level sport sedans. It does have to be this BLS but maybe the next generation. The chassis this based on is already being redesigned so that all vehicles based on it will be able to be built in any GM plant around the world.

This thing is definately "Nissan-ish"...Especially in the headlights.
I like it though....nedds larger wheels and a billet grill...Then it'll look pretty sharp. I am confused though...will it be a caddy or a saab when it comes over?

If it comes here it would be a Caddy. With everyone stating that the headlamps are "Nissan-ish", come to think about it the CTS was out before the Nissan Mazima so how can it be "Nissan-ish"?
