essential speed vs ion exhaust

What should I get, the ion tb exhaust or the essential speed's tb exhaust?

Ion's is better, more expensive and shipping is a lot. The wait times for Ion seem pretty long. ES doesn't look like a full 3" from the pics, but I'm not 100% on that. Your choice. I would buy Ion's between the two. ********** is coming out with one similar to the ES, except there is a HKS C-TI muffler which definately has the bling-bling effect. I'm not sure when that's going to be done, but I am waiting for results on that before choosing.

get one custom made, its cheaper than both of their exhausts..just get a nice muffler and reasonator and get it done.

Totally agree! There is no reason why people should pay so much and wait so long for either one of those exhausts. (stooges)

Also people with the ion exhaust, did you guys notice a difference in the boost characteristics?

Yeah I have the article. The way people were talking about the exhausts I thought someone actually did a comparison. Has anyone done this with ions and another exhaust to get actual hp differences? Or are they just assuming that an actual dp with separate path for the w/g makes no difference?

The 22 whp was in addition to what was already made by the FMIC and CAI. The best part is at the top of the rev range when you see an additional 30+ whp. That shows me just how restrictive the stock S-pipe really is. With the iON exhaust, the hp doesn't drop off. To me, the extra money is worth it.
