So after reading all of the thread with no spoilers, I want to talk about the brilliance of that movie...

Even though Anakin's turn to the Dark Side lacked the hate I thought would spur it, the dialogue between him and Sidious when talking about the Dark Side was awesome! You must know both sides of the force to understand the force completely.

I have a pretty large collection of kung-fu flicks and this movie has some of the most beautiful swordplay I have seen, x10 because it was with lightsabers, SICKNESS.

The story goes that Anakin hunts down all the Jedi, wish it had happened that way, but it worked with the troopers turning because Sidious had sent Sifer Diaz to have the clones grown, so for him to have a command to have them turn on the Jedi worked.

We got to see the power of the Dark Side with the Dark Lord himself, TWICE, that was dope. Sidious laughing the whole time he was fighting Yoda was hilarious!

This movie did nothing but continue the storyline behind the original 3 that some of us grew up with.

Cheers to Lucas!

I liked it, but it was lacking in some areas, as the whole series grew I grew, and i think i kind of grew out of it, but it is a great story , pretty epic. But wasent thought out so well at the end. Once Anakin turns into darth, and there are on the ship at then end, everything is so retro, like in the originals, i just thought it to be strange that they were flying all these crazy ships, then they end up on a ship with knobs that look like the came out of the first movie in the 80's. Those type of things bother me. But I will probably go see it again. Or just Download it. haha

Yeah I love the characters, and the story. And Darth Vader is a awesome villan , thats why i got him posted everywere. But the acting and the cheesyness grew old. And Hayden christensen is kind of a douch, and not the greatest actor. But I think the best person in the movie and movies were Obi won, he plays that part so well.

aww...yoda and chewbacca...one of the most touching moments in the movie!...lol...

More spoilers please... sold out here early in the week before I made it down there to try and get tickets. Probably won't make it til monday, but I still want to hear more about it.

Lord Tyrannus(Count Dooku), has the best death in all 6 of the movies, Anakin says, "I really shouldn't do this", Sidious says, "Go for it, I want a new apprentice anyways" and so Anakin takes 2 lightsabers and sissors his head off.

(headbang)

The best part is when Yoda walks into Darth Sidious' office and the 2 red royal guards try to stop him. He makes a slight motion with his hand and they fly backwards into the wall.

Actually any battle with Yoda kicked ass.

I loved how Lucas made attempts even from the beginning of "Sith" to begin the evolution technologically to "New Hope". If you notice the starships Anakin and Obi Wan are flying at the beginning, they are early versions of Ti-fighters. Plus, X-wings make their first appearance.

I never read any of the Star Wars books, so I didn't know exactly how Anakin would turn into Darth Vader. I was blown away by how evil the emperor is, and to see Anakin burning by the lava flow. Plus to hear Darth scream in anguish when he finds out that Padme died anyhow. You can actually feel his pain and heartbreak when he realizes he's thrown it all away for. This really made Darth/Anakin more personal to me and it makes the final scene between Luke and Darth in "Return" that much more meaningful.

What I could have done without: the stupid Tarzan yell from the wookies in their battle scene. And the "you're so beautiful..." dialogue between Anakin and Padme. Plus some of the CG sucked. But, this movie rocks. I still am excited about it this morning. I can't wait to see it again.

they really made most of the jedi's look like clueless fools. if they are jedi masters, shouldn't they have felt (like yoda did) that they were about to be killed by the clones? and the fact that none of them put up a fight...c'mon they were ******* jedi masters

I would have to agree with some of you. However, I knew that I would not be impressed with the movie therefore I did not go to a theatre to see it. Yes, b**** and say s*** to me all you want about being a pirater, but why pay $10 to see a movie if I do not know if it will be worth it? That was my thought. So I downloaded it and watched it last night after work and I am glad that I did not pay to see it.

The movie lacked a lot of stuff. It was way drug out and some of it was just cheesy. When C3PO says "I feel so useless...". Yeah, that was cheesy. Anyways, I still 'might' go see it in the theatre (contradicting myself, I know) but I am undecided yet. Maybe I will actually burn it and watch it on my DVD Player with surround sound tonight and see how it goes. I kind of had to keep the audio turned down and bass off due to people sleeping in my house. So, tonight it just might be all on. Then we will see what I think after that.

As of right now, it was way too drug out. And the ending just didn't work for me. I was left feeling unfinished. For someone who had seen 4, 5 and 6 when they I was about six years old, this third one makes barely any sense except for Luke and Leigha, which I never knew were siblings.

Well, more to come later I am sure...

True. Though not all were jedi masters. Only those on the council. But still, some of them died after just a few blasts from clones. The most powerful masters were Yoda, Mace and Obi Wan (in that order). Yoda and Obi survive obviously and Mace was undone by the Sith Lord and Anakin (Darth at that moment). I'm not sure that any of the masters (Yoda included) could have survived that encounter alone. So it doesn't bother me as much that some of the Jedi knights could have been killed by the clones. But I understand what you're saying.

most of the others that were killed by the clones were on the council and therefore granted the title of jedi master (remember that anakin was pissed that he was on the council but not granted title of master). they really had a weak sense of the force if they could not see what was coming!

One of my favorite sws character is Bobba fett. I wish they woulda have more about him. How mace went out kinda pissed me off. I did like the fight with the general robot guy (forgot the name) and obi wan. I was like..oh s*** 4 light sabers..he is gonna pwn. THe ending lacked some things about the next movie, but we know how the kids will grow up in thier new environments.

Oh yea, R2D2 OWNS!!!! I love how he toasted those bots at the beginning.

At first when I saw General Grivious I was thinking "WTF??!? Why is a droid coughing and acting like he is a chain smoker?" I didn't realize that he was part bug too.

he was still just a small boy during the period of EPIII it's not until 16 years later or so, when he is a young adult, that they can re-introduce him again

That or the surprise attack was so well planned and kept secret that only the wisest of the jedi masters (yoda) could sense what was happening. Remember even Obi Wan never saw it coming. I see it both ways and I'm purposefully giving Mr. Lucas the benefit of a doubt. No offense.

I didn't like how Mace Windu could bring down the emperor, but yoda, an even greater jedi, got beat. And also, anakin turned to darth way to quick. Once he finds out the emperor is a sith he's like "i have to turn you in" and runs and gets windu, and 2 secs later he's like "ok, i'll do whatever you want". I was kind of hoping there'd be more manipulation there and more depth into the dark side transition. And padme just losing her will to live crap was kind of lame.

All in all tho, I think it was definitely way better than episodes 1 and 2 and more on par with the original trilogy.
