Engine

hmmm I think there is one guy who actually did a complete conversion. If I remember correctly, his nick is sport20

but you wouldnt even want it to turbocharge it because of the higher compression pistons. your answers will be found in the search. ;)

Your best bet is to go to a junk yard and get 2.0 liter probe fs block pistons and send them to any piston place to see if you can get lower compression ones made. Drop the stock 9 to 1 . Some how down to 8.5 to 1 or 8 to 1 if possible then 22 psi is ******* possible. Worst comes to worst you might have to sleeve the piston area to fit 8 to 1 compression pistons in. But you still can go 22 to 25 psi.

well talk to linux and he will talk u out of the fs-ze in as fast as u can say hey to him. He has had the worst luck with the engine. And besides the fact unless u use the obd-1 setup then there is no hp gain to be had. Peace,
Zane

Linux's engine only dynoed at 120whp. Very dissapointing. And, as others have stated, it has a 10.4:1 compression....not boost friendly.

the FS ZE engine from japan is worthless without the Jspec ECU from that car. the wiring involved is completely incompatible, making the swap completely cost inefficient and not at all worth the effort.

if you are looking to go the naturally aspirated route, you can buy higher compression pistons, cams and cam gears, pulleys and other such goodies. in the end, you'll get more ponies per penny with a turbo.
