engine swap question?

ok i found a 2002 lx at engine, now i thought it doesnt matter what the tranny is as long as i have my manual tranny and parts from my old engine is that correct? would i beable to put in this engine into my 2003 mt ?

should not be an issue just remove the auto pieces and install your msp flywheel and clutch. DO NOT forget to put lock tight and to torque to proper values or you will be taking it apart all over again.

Did you hear it run? Check the basic things, motor turns over, compression, under valve cover, take a look at timing belt maybe.. just make sure you aren't getting screwed. People are quick to make a dollar
