Engine oil?

Yo yo, i have a 2002 protege5 with just over 200K what kind of engine oil would you recommend?

Whatever you used for the first 200K

I use Pennzoil 5W-30 and change it every 5000KM.

Asking that is like asking what someones favoriate food is. I would say some sort of blend at the least. I use Eneos 5W-30 and change every 5000m. As soon as their fully synthetic is available here in the US i'll be using that. I use Mobil Super 5000 in my wifes Camry.

I just purchased my 2003 P5 in February. It's got 141K miles on it now. I'm not sure what was run in it previously. I was considering running Mobil1 5W30 with a decent filter.

I understand that changing oil can cause deposits to dislodge so I'm planning on changing the oil at around 1500 miles several times to resettle the engine. Anyone got experience with this situation?
