Engine clicking

you need to stop driving it asap. If you keep on driving you may make your crank unusable again. When a bearing spins in the journal it creates a groove on the crank and if you do, 1 you can get the crank micropolished/turned or buy a new one. But if you keep driving and let it mess up more you can go ahead and toss that block out.

JUst found out today that my engine is consuming oil.... dont know how much but ill have a close look on it for the next 1000km. I have removed a heatshild on exhaust line that was loose and it cleared a lot of noise i was hearing but the main Tick tick tcik is still there which worry me a lot more. ut i found out that i dont think i experience oil starvation since i was turning right when it happened and oil starvation happend when you hard corner on the left..... now i think im gonna take out the IM to see if it was a VICS screw that got swallowed by the engine and the loose VICS plate making the noise...more to come!

if it was the screws, you'd KNOW it was the screws. There's no guessing on that one. You sure it's not just the injectors?

How could an injector do a tick tick tick noise? Explain-me plz because i dont understand...

does it usually happen after the car is hot? That's how they work...as they open and close, in a hot engine, you can usually hear the tick tick tick. Miatas are bad about this, it's just a fast, repetetive ticking (almost clicking, big difference lol...ok not really) noise

i wish i had something to register the damn tick. The tick isnt always there. More in low gear and when car is cold but still there when car is hot. Increase rythm folowing engine rpm.

Should i look at injector? Clean it or change it? how to diagnostic it?

no, if it's the injecotr, it's normal for them to tick

So its not an injector.... really distinct sound than a normal click (valve injector) sound.

More like a card in a bicycle wheel but not that noisy which wasnt there before.
