emanage as an aic...still need o2 clamp?

would it be possible to use the emanage as an aic? since it can control 2 additional injectors. with this, do i still need to put a o2 sensor modifier if i will use the emanage as an aic?

you still need the o2 voltage clamp. you can try and make up for the fuel the ECU pulls by dumping fuel with the AICs, but the ECU will continue to learn and pull fuel.

You do not need the voltage clamp if you are running additional injectors. I would

recommend that you get a pressure sensor as well to trigger the injectors. When the ECU

pulls a tremendous amount of fuel, then just dump it right back in. The ECU can only

pull so much fuel, be sure to get a wideband to monitor the AFR's as well.

i tried running my car with xtra injectors and no voltage clamp.. the ECU will pull a ton of fuel, and you will have to retune daily. You want the stock injectors to dump as much fuel as possible to keep the fuel distribution even. By not using the voltage clamp, tuning wil be a royal PITA. For me after a few days with no clamp, i was still adding fuel, it was a never ending process.

FYI- I use the MPI tuner for my AIC and timing control. I also have a FM voltage clamp. I have two xtra injectors before the throttle body.

so even with the emanage i still have to use an o2 clamp eventhough i won't be controlling the 4 stock injectors? can i control ignition signals without the o2 clamp?

I guess it wouldn't hurt to install a voltage clamp. To control the ignition you have to

CUT a couple wires on the ECU.
