Nice to see an active mazda community in southern Louisiana. All I thought we had in Houma are minitrucks and ghetto cars. lol. Hey Shane, i saw your car outside of Best Buy awhile back. Very nice man. Very nice. I want your FMIC. lol.

welcome to the forums!

if you need help with anything let me know...
look around for upcomming events!

would you be interested in autocross?

thanks for the welcome! :)

absolutely interested in autox. I used to run my MX6 back in the day with Delta Region (over at Zephyrs). I haven't had a chance to run the miata yet, but I eagerly await the opportunity.

we were out there last week.

next even is in baton rouge with cenla. ill be at it and i think a few others might be also.... would you want to go to that? its on the 10th

if the car survives the dyno tuning on the 9th. lol.

I'm shooting for 220whp. I'm running very rich right now, and others on miataturbo.net are seeing similar numbers on very similar setups.

Hey, what better way to break in a new tune than an autox, eh? :)

lol.....we were having a meet on the 9th....may stop by to say hey if you dont care...i understand if you do. where you getting it tuned?

Actually, i'm having it tuned over at Corr Performance Tuning in Port Allen. I had my MX6 dyno'd there, and they are some great guys. It's about two hours away though. I'm still on the fence about the date though. I might try to push it back another weekend. If I do that, I'll be more than happy to get together with you guys for a meet.

Here's the part that matters though. ;) Note that the screw type clamps have been upgraded to t-bolt clamps and that i have added a Bowser style turbo heatshield from Flyin' Miata and an all metal dualcore radiator. I also have recently cleaned the bejeezus out of my engine bay since this pic. :)

Notice the flat black RX7 Turbo II intercooler lurking behind the bumper. :) Not noticeable at all from the outside. There is no indication from the outside what lurks under the hood. :D
