Some of you may know I have been out of the game since June when I blew my motor. I was originally going to get a built block from MAM along with a SS kit but I recently got married and that took over my engine and turbo fund.
Anyways I bought a used motor off ebay with 9k miles on it for $600 and had it ready to drop into my car when someone and offer for a trade with a built NA block became available.
I will post pictures tonight but basically it looks like I will be taking over an NA build from another yellow P5. The engine I have in my garage has some serious potential and I plan on trying to push the boundaries of what has been done as far as N/A builds.
This engine has 10:1 compression, a 7 angle valve job, wiseco pistons, shot peened rods, ceramic coated exhaust ports end everything was balanced. I am sure there is more that the previous owner had done to this engine but I am still working on getting the list of things done. I know he was slipping the stock clutch like crazy with this setup.
He had this engine on a car with the VTCS flaps removed, stock exhaust manifold and a 2.5 inch piping, stock intake, and stock ECU.
With this engine on my car, it will be getting some upgrades. I have my Haltech E6X still, and a ported intake manifold, aftermarket header, 2.5inch straight piping, 440cc injectors, spec stage 3 clutch.
I will post pictures up soon of the engine and install.
