Eibach Pro Kit + Wheels

Hey I am new to this and I'm looking for some help with lowering springs and wheel sizes. I am in the process of making some mods on a speed 6 and what I am wondering is if the Rota P1 18x8 wheels (offset 48mm) + the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs would work well with the car itself. I live in the north and have snow to deal with in the winter too so I do not want the car to be too low (the pro kit drops Front 1.5" - drops Rear 1.4") is that too low? I do not want any rubbing on the car from the wheels as well without having to roll the fenders. I also heard the shocks on the stock speed 6 do not work well with these springs so if there are any other spring/wheel combos that work better any suggestions would be very much appreciated as I want to do all my mods at once so I do not have to go back in to make changes.

Thanks

You'll probably want to roll the rear fenders to be safe. Take a look at the wheel thread and there should be several with similar setups to what you want to do. Keep in mind the Pro-kit is not a MS6 specific spring though.

Ok thanks!

H&R seem to be the favorites, along with the RPM sport/street. Those are the only ones I know of that are MS6 specific.

alright, and do you have any idea what size offset works without causing any rubbing problems? I was looking at a 40 offset wheel but I am not sure what size works best.

any drop below 1.5 tends to cause rubbing with larger than stock wheels, at least with weight in the back ive seen some pretty worrysome pictures.

alright thanks that helps out. I am just going to go with the RPM springs since it only lowers the front 1.1 and the back .75 that should be plenty safe. Thanks for the info!

It may very well rub!!

I have the exact same set up, Rota P1 18x8 wheels (offset 48mm) + the Eibach Pro Kit with 225/45-18 Sumitomo HTR III's and I get a rub in the rear fender lips with weight in the car or when cornering hard (which happens all the time when you drive like a jackass).
