EGT / Oil temp gauges

Hi i bought an EGT and Oil temp gauge from AutoGauge:

Egt
Oil temp

An can you tell me where to install sensor for this gauges. I read on polish racing/tuning board about EGT sensor that best place for install is before turbo in exhoust manifold. But the oryginal manifold is mad from iron and i'm afraid that can break. Instaling sensor after turbo in s-pipe can make incorrect reading of temperature for about 100-150 degrees.

Please for advise where to install those sensors in stock MSP 2003.

sorry I cant help you out on that one, when I bought mine it had those gauges wired up to the power, but noothing else.

the egt needs to go in the mani and you are correct that by tapping into the stock exhaust mani that it might just crack, but then again...the stock mani will crack on its own anyway just give it time

for the oil pressure, make sure you have a pressure sender to read the pressure and send it to the gauge and pickup the oil filter sender sandwich here
