i know ive asked this already..someone told me to look on protege garage but i cant find one... anyone know where i can buy an egr and how much its gona run me? my boyfriend can get it from the dealership he works at but its still pretty pricey...any help is appreciated!

^It wouldn't be on the website. Can you imagine if he had EVERY OEM Mazda part (he carries more then just Protegs!? There would be 1000s of pages of parts to sort through...

I would buy the revised version of the egr. Part number FSY1-20-300-9U

Didn't know the actual part# but this new version is what will nullify the problem for good. however, if your EGR is giving you a cell, as long as your car is within 7 years of purchase time, you are covered under a new warranty for this specific problem (I know this is the case in Canada, not sure about the US though).

Edit: here's the Bulletin, just not sure if it's applicable to Americans though
