I'm about to get a tune with ecutek from a local speedshop here in montral and i want to make sure they know what to look for during the tune.

They want to tune my car with no mod first to see how ecutek react and then with some minor mod.

I want to make sure they know what to look for when they start tuning my car.

Can you tell me the thing to watch during a tune on the speed3.

Ty

I know they have been working on the tunes for the MS3 but this is the first I have heard of them being available.

Have they done any tuning on the MS3 yet at all at this tuner or are you the first?

i'm gonna be the first speed3 they tune with ecutek

ask if they have unlocked any tables dealing with fuel pressure - this has been one of the major hold ups with other tuning solutions (except cpe right now)
some stuff to talk about w/ the tuner -
car probably responds better to a little more aggressive timing & not as much crazy boost vs increasing boost and only changing timing to account for potential knock (in my opinion)
a mid to upper 11's afr usually makes the best power
make sure they drive the car as part of the tune b/c the logic the ecu uses to calculate the trims is very complex and if your trims get out of wack - you can run lean or rich while in closed loop (cruising around)
car gets frequent knock in the 3 to 4k rpm range while just normal driving - anything he can do to the timing to help this is good

Keep up they answer and question you want me to ask

So how did it go??
I wanna see how the car reacts with a true tune with cam timing and all the other goodies...
