The ECU will self adjust over a few miles anyway. But d/c the battery for a few minutes and reconnect (losing your radio presets, etc.) if you are concerned.
However, it makes sense that changing to an aftermarket catback would NOT require or even benefit from an ECU reset, because the stock catback can flow more cubic feet per minute than our engine is capable of passing through from intake to exhaust unless you are very heavily modded. A catback will not produce any noticable increase in exhaust flow unless you are pushing more than 300 whp and that normally means a turbo upgrade.
There are cars on this forum running high 12 second quarter mile with the stock exhaust. Catback will change the sound of your car, hopefully in a way that pleases you. It should affect little else.
