Made my first ebay purchase last night. I ordered a car stereo for my P5, I could not beat the price I got on ebay.

Now I am nervous because of all of the bad stories I have heard from people buying on ebay.

Well here is a pic of the CD player I got, it is not an expensive one like a lot of you guys have, but I feel it will be better than the factory unit (that sucks). It looks good and has red lights!

I dunno......it is a VERY simple unit (I like that) less bells and whistles to break you know? And I feel it has a unique look to it.

What I want to do it put three little gauges under the stereo (in the empty double din slot) have any of you done that?

ive been using ebay alot , my max buy is about $200 and my max sell is about $400.

i havent had any problems at all, best thing is to read sellers feedback and ask lots of questions

Well, I am not buying from a private party. It is a biz. that has been around for seven years so I don't think I will have to worry about it.

as for gauges get N20 pressure, Boost pressure, and Exhaust Gas temperature.....all three useless on a normally aspirated P5, but you'll look like you're packin!

eBay's great! You just need to be aware (as best you can) of the buyer or seller. Check feedback, and ask questions. I have been an avid eBayer since 1999.

i <3 eBay...i always recommend though to shop before buying though...sometimes getting into a bid war could cause you to pay more for a product if you didn't reasearch prior.
