Mine were zinc plated.

I bought mine early this year, also off EBay. I paid them cheap. The seller asked if I wanted them Cadmium plated as well to help with rust. So I had that done for an extra $35 or $40. I think the original price for the rotors alone was around $90 USD. In retrospect, I should have purchased a slightly more expensive (and hopefully better quality) set. When I had them installed, I would turn my wheels while the car was on a lift and I could hear spots where my brakes rubbed the rotors. This only occurred on the rear rotors. I don't know if the Cadmium plating had a warping effect on them. I should've got the Brembo's instead. Hope this helps!
I just bought a set of these, $146 shipped to my door for F+R black complete set. ill let everybody know how they are after they are installed. THANKS
Hey guys, just browsing some forums and came across this thread. Seems like some is interested to find out about drilled and slotted rotors. Any questions you have, feel free to ask me.
Well bigger names mean higher profit margin. I know this because i do alot of their machining here. As for us, profit margin is alot smaller due to more quantity being sold. Hopes this make sense.we were all just wondering how the ebay rotors compared to all the brand names? I ordered a set of ebay rotors that will be here wensday. we just wanted to know how come name brands are so much more money, when alot say the ebay's are good too!!!

i have a friend that works at an aftermarket company, and i asked him about these discs and he said that they should be good quality. I also contacted DRT and asked if they had a warranty against cracks (just incase), and he said they dont crack but they are covered for 30 days.
I'm gonna get a set. Its seems like a really good price.
Just a question, what kind of pads would you guys use with these?
