ebay crossed drilled slotted rotors

I've heard mixed things about the cross-drilling of the rotors on e-bay.....and I always keep in mind that you get what you pay for...

You get what you pay for...

After a while, drilled rotors get cracks in them.

The were Drilled Custom from a new set of OEM Blanks. Costs only $20.00 per rotor..

i went back to see the ebay seller i bought from.. they have alot and cheap too... hawk pads with these made a nice differance,, and they are holding up great... looks like $140 will get you a full set!

I just bought a set of these, $146 shipped to my door for F+R black complete set. ill let everybody know how they are after they are installed. THANKS

i have a set i bought about a year ago. they are holding up awesome, i drive alot and have put over 30k on them with no problems. i only wish i bought more expensive brake pads to go with them.

Be careful of drilled rotors. If they are drilled incorrectly or the rotors are poor quality, cracks will form. It may start off as a tiny crack but will soon need to be replaced. But driving habits have alot to do with that also.

Tripoint has a sale on some brake pads and rotors. I ordered the slotted ones for the front, and blanks for the rear. Once I get the rotors I will be installing them with hawk pads.

I bought mine early this year, also off EBay. I paid them cheap. The seller asked if I wanted them Cadmium plated as well to help with rust. So I had that done for an extra $35 or $40. I think the original price for the rotors alone was around $90 USD. In retrospect, I should have purchased a slightly more expensive (and hopefully better quality) set. When I had them installed, I would turn my wheels while the car was on a lift and I could hear spots where my brakes rubbed the rotors. This only occurred on the rear rotors. I don't know if the Cadmium plating had a warping effect on them. I should've got the Brembo's instead. Hope this helps!

if the seller is selling the exact rotors in the picture then you'll be fine, Brembo brake systems are not crap, infact they're used in , BMW, Merc, and many other high performance cars(including the WRX).

Infact, I'm using a set of brembo rotors right now.. and I've never had any problems.

as for the other set I can't comment on, since I've never heard of the company, so as with everyone else all I can say is you get what you pay for.

I'm still running the same set of brembo/hawks for 60k with not a single crack, problem or noise. Get good set of stainless lines tho. I do NOT suggest the barely cheaper than real ones off ebay. Went thru 2 sets of those crapass leakers before getting the goodridge set.
