Does anyone know of an easily removable roof rack for the speed 3? I am a DJ and I'd like to be able to secure truss bars to my roof when I need them for a light show. I don't really care about which brand roof rack I buy, because I'll only be putting the rack on the car a few nights a month, maybe even less.
I want to take the rack off when I'm not using it, as I don't like the look of roof racks, and I don't need it for any other purposes (and I don't want lower gas mileage).
Are any of the mounts that are available (I know of the Thule and Yakima) easy to put on/remove, and do any of them not require that you remove the "gutter" pieces in the roof?
I don't want to spend $400 for one of the new Thule ones, since this doesn't need to look amazing, and I don't need special snowboard or ski attachments to tie down the equipment I'm tying down here. Any advice/experiences would be appreciated.
