Dynolicious for Itouch/Iphone.

Honestly mckraut, i kind of am. I would love just once to buy a quality cell phone in which the phone worked flawlessly without having a digital camera, mp3 player, navigation, internet access....etc. But, sadly that doesnt exist, so i bought the best phone i could afford and it happens to have all those things, which i use but i wouldnt miss. I have a zune for mp3's, a canon dslr rebel for pictures, a laptop for internet access.....etc. But i get what you're saying.

I hear ya. Combined gadets rarely work well together. There are exceptions, but by and large, to get the best you need to have different toys.

However, I must admit that my combination toaster oven/rubber ducky kicks ass.

Back on topic.. I bought this app last night and tested a few runs.. I was skeptical to say the least but this thing is pretty damn accurate! the only thing I wouldn't trust is the horsepower rating due to the fact that it calculates it through the weight and powertrain loss that YOU enter into the car (keeping the powertrain loss at 0% shows power to the wheels, rather than adding 15 or 20 or whatever percent).

0-60 times seemed spot on, I couldn't get up to 1/4 mile pushing hard since I wasn't on the track and didn't want to go over 65-70mph =P.. The g force meter seems pretty cool, not sure how accurate it is either but it's a nifty and fun tool.

So, Worth the 12 bucks? I think so, but it's all up to preference

What was your 0-60 time and is your car stock?

Dynolicious????

Hmmm not sure what section this thread belongs in but anyhow...

Who's got an iPhone?

There a dyno program that can be added to the iphone utilizing the built in accelerometer. Haven't tried it myself but reviews say it works...

http://www.dynolicious.com/

someone should give it a try... i know i will but we need someone with an actual g-meter and dyno sheet to compare results.

cool thanks for the link... can't wait to try it out myself... now i need to guestimate how much my car weighs with all the crap inside... im guessing 3k#'s

I have the Dynolicious software...its awesome....I have 750 miles on my brand new Mazdaspeed 3 GT...cant wait to take it to the drag strip and compare Iphone to time slip...

i have it , and its fun to play with it, i put the weight of the car, 15% drivetrain loss and it averages 236to 240whp, i had wheel hop so bad though, my 1/8mile was calculated at 15 seconds..

overall its a fun program to play with, but it will not replace a trip to the dyno or track.
