Hey Guys, Does anyone have Dyno2000 or a program similar to it? Are they accurate and worth the money?

Hey, this is pretty cool...
Too bad im talking wild guesses at this.
Anyone have "accurate" data for the FS-DE?

This is what i got so far (bore and stroke taken from mazda site)

Bore 3.26 in.
Stroke 3.62 in

Stock intake cam(cam specs taken from http://web2.airmail.net/emann/protegefaq/)

lift .344/.323 duration 198/200 degrees @.050

FSZE intake cam and JDM cam

lift .344/.323 210/200 degrees @ .050

I think our head flow 220 cfm but not sure that is what I used.

i'd really like to see a base engine created using dyno 2000 - with accurate numbers - creating what we have. then we can adjust from there properly....but it's just a matter of finding the base to start from...hmmmmmm

later

Well that verson is 3.05, but on some of the files they say verson 3.07 for some reason, just open the files in a word processor and change the verson to "3.05" and it will work.... DD2K is not accurate, it is more for Cam comparisons and head comparisons, i dont think it will be very help ful to us, its very helpful to the muscle car guys because it has tons of cams to compair.... the only way i can really see it helping us is, seeing power gains w/ a turbo or nitrous, which has already been covered by alot of people on the fourm... but mess around with it and see what you get, good luck

Damn....i cant touch cam duration.
Its not so helpful
I have version 3.10

Im just messing around with cam lifts, bore and stroke Iteration Testing
