And the prize goes to mp5jeff, only 6 hours till the liar, liar, pants on fire calls. Take a look at 5252rpm on every chart there sport.
what is my prize? could it be a new exhaust like yours! id love a 20whp exhaust please!

I found some pics of the pipe on the car,
and one of my seats, my old tires, and one of what mom thinks of people trying to pass the Mazdaspeed.

I used thier aluminum intake pipes to build my cold air intake. Good stuff. So you just got the exhaust system made out of thier universal products or are they making a bolt on system for us?

GreatG...great thread, good to see some numbers! I would also like you to know that my desktop is now your mom giving the finger...that s*** is funny!!! Also...I have worries about using my FPR with the flash. I see that you use a FPR with flash...do you think this is a good idea? Is it really helping us?

Hey bud... what model sparco's are those? I've been thinking about putting some in myself. Are they heavier than stock? What about installation... do the kits fit well, or were they a pain in the ass to install?

Commiespeed, I am not that confident with the FPR and higher than 10psi of boost. Seeing the Air / Fuel Ratio freak out at high rpm and 13psi was not fun. I leads me to believe the computer really doesn't know what to do with it, so leaning it out is asking for trouble. But the FPR definately helps with fuel economy and low boost, so I am going to keep it on.
pip7441622 last I heard they have made two prototypes and that's it. I assume a bolt on sys is what they have in mind.
D stickney My seats are Torinos, they are installed with custom brackets from the same shop that did my exhaust. They are made with heavy gauge steel just in case my car ends up on its roof at a racetrack. So they are heavier than stock, 48lbs versus 32 pounds per stock seat.

any plans on a front mount or IC sprayer for the stocker? And did you do any tweaking with the fpr at lower boost to realize any more gains? I'd love to have a wideband and and fpr for the hey of it, just to see how much can we realy benefit from it. But I don't plan on any massive modding any time soon. Not sure if its really cost eff.

ND4MSP An FMIC would be nice but its not in the budget right now. I haven't done any tweaking to the FPR, not sure what I would do? Has anyone else done this? Mods are never cost effective...

The most surprising thing from the dyno is how restrictive the stock air box & paper filter are. It jumped 11hp at 10 psi just by lifting up the plastic air box during a run.

My bad about the fpr, haven't seen joep's product. Can anything be done with it?. I'm stock with exeption to my mbc at a lil less than 8psi, I think my first mod is gonna be a new replacement filter and hack my stock box some.
<Semi jack> anyone seen or purchased one of those cool blue (accel I think) replacement filters?

JoeP's FPR isnt a Fuel Pressure Regulator, just a reducer. It taps the Fuel Pressure line, and cuts the signal out a tiny bit to lean the map under boost. You cant adjust it.

And those are nice gains... very nice.
