Just for reference, they WON'T hit 210 mph. It may say it on the speedo, but it won't get there.
Cycle world (I think) did a top speed check on the bikes. I think the top 3 were the Suzuki GSXR700, Hayabusa, and Yamaha R1. (I think that's right.) The top was around 183mph with no mods.
Now, there is a big race out in the desert where they only run cars for like 30+ miles on closed roads. They allowed a modified Hayabusa to run a couple years ago. Over the entire course, it AVERAGED 180mph+. That's some CRAZY speed. Again, it was heavily modified.
Bikes won't go 210 factory. There is too much drag and not enough power. (And yes, at those speeds, bikes have very high drag.) I've been riding for 13 years now. Not just talking out my a$$.
BTW, the fastest I've seen on mine was 175mph on a nice long stretch of highway. Had a little more, but the wind was really starting to buffet the bike.
