how can i drop the 3...??? i seen on the shocks that it mite look like u can lower it but idk! i asked my friend he said no but there has to be a way!

please help thank you!

You need lowering springs to lower a car. Or coilovers. Or air bags.

damn! i really dont want to spend much on it lol but i guess if i have to by springs i have to! thanks guys!

Check here or other mazda3 forums in the classifieds sections. You can find springs for a lot cheaper used since these are newer cars and many people return them to stock if they sell or trade.

Even new, springs will only run you a couple hundred bucks. For the best ride quality you are going to want to upgrade your dampers as well.

What the deuce? What's the point of this thread? With all the work you've done on your Protege you should know by now you'll need lowering springs or coilovers to lower whatever Mazda3 you're talking about. And yes, they cost money.

Did you expect people to say "Just cut your springs. It's mad JDM, yO!". Come on, mate.(unamused)

i know bro! lol but they come out wit werid stuff all the time! but thanks!

Those look interesting. I wonder how the rear would be adjustable? I really don't see how it could be done. Unless the height is adjusted on the shock but that makes no sense either. Since the shock only controls wheel oscillation, the spring is what determines the ride height. Do us all a favor and buy them and do a write-up with pics.

They are pretty big in the miata community (those that care about going low and nothing else)
I've been considering getting a set (mainly because i figure they cant be worse than my 70k shocks)

They are good if you want low and not much of anything else but the spring rates suck for any type of performance.

I wonder if they use standard coilover sized springs on the front struts. That would be a damn cheap way to get the front end down farther on my car.

the rear spring rate is scary.
Yeah thats what i was thinking as well. The miata ones are a tad stiffer (425/350)
Pretty sure the 125 for the rear is the lowest ive seen on any car. hahaha

But hell if all you care about is being low, go for it.
