Drizz-OH! build/progress thread

Well... I like it. And I get more good compliments than bad ones so I must be doing something right.. Um...thanks for the support?

Thanks Erick.

Dub, lol thanks man. I don't mind the stock hood at all but it got a little destroyed and needed to be replaced anyway, plus I like being different.

Got some new lens filters today and then did a photoshoot in a parking garage with some friends. Here are my favorites from the night.

Alright...I'll try to refrain from posting some for a while lol. I'm sure you're all tired of seeing my car by now.

Had the lovely Mercy Gamez pose with the 6 last week. Peep the pics.

Props to my boy Charles for taking the last 2 pics.

Recently installed the CFE Carbon Fiber B-Pillars. Also ordered the RacingBeat Front Sway Bar today. So excited!!!

Bosch Icon wiper blades installed today... All I can say is holy s***! These are nice wiper blades. If you can afford the extra coin I'd recommend them. Dead quiet compared to what I had before (probably never been changed since my car left the factory) and there's no trail following the path of the blade. Plus they replace the whole arm so install only takes about 30 seconds.

Ordered the RacingBeat front sway bar on Friday, and my new WeaponX spark plugs have finally shipped out and should be in this week. :D

I put Bosch Icon blades on about six weeks ago, really happy with them so far. But, I read where they tend to wear out really fast...haven't noticed anything yet but I'm watching them closely.

Nice looking car, keep up the good work. :)

Thanks!! Actually....I bought them because it says on the package they last 20% longer lol. It doesn't rain enough in AZ to really use them, but when it does rain it pours, so I wanted the best.

So......my car is running a million times better. I changed the spark plugs from the NGK Iridiums to the WeaponX Iridiums. Never again will I take someone else's word on the size of the spark plug gap. The NGK Iridiums that I was running since October had a gap of .064!!!! JESUS!!! That's .012 WIDER than it's supposed to be, no wonder my car has been running like crap and pinging in the high RPM's. Checked and double checked my WeaponX plugs to make sure they're where they're supposed to be @ .052. Also, the MF-6 also stars up quickly now like it's supposed to. With the NGK's it was taking 5-8 cranks to get the car to fire up. Hopefully all is back to normal now. Also did the EGR Mod today while I had the IM off. Not sure of the difference it made but it's very clear that the EGR tube is too long for our vehicles. It honestly feels like I picked up about 10whp today, along with a much smoother power curve. As of right now, I am a happy camper.

RACINGBEAT FRONT SWAY BAR INSTALLED!! (breakn)

ZOMG! The install was the biggest PITA ever, but if we had all the correct tools from the beginning and weren't afraid to drop the subframe of the front of the car it probably would have turned a 5-hour install into a 2-3 hour install. Oh well... It's in!

Car feels ridiculously better in every aspect of driving (so far). More planted to the ground, of course better control and improved traction, and it actually appears to be riding smoother (only had it one the freeway so far). Will go out and give it a real test drive tomorrow if I ever wake up.
