Here's a simple question that's bugged me for a while. Whenever it's wet out and I give it a little too much throttle in second, it always results in wheel hop and never wheel spin. I don't get it. I'm not launching or shifting hard, just a good dip of throttle from a roll.
I understand the wheel hop issues on dry roads(massive amounts of torque for a fwd platform, etc). Intuition just makes me think that with less traction in the wet, it should make it easier for the wheels to spin freely. Hell, it did in my old 1995 Beretta, haha.
Any thoughts?
