I purchased a 2008 CX-9 GT about one month ago. I've noticed that there is a whirring sound produced by the front end that increases/decreases in pitch as the speed of the vehicle increases/decreases. I didn't think anything of it after I took delivery of the vehicle. It seems to be getting louder now though, to the level that it's almost roaring at me at speeds especially of 40 and 60 mph.
I'm thinking that it could be a wheel bearing(s) or is the sound level just a normal CX-9 operating condition? Has anyone ever experienced this?
