I think I've seen references to this issue but I don't remember where. In the last few days when I park the car the mirrors close as they are supposed to but the drivers side doesn't open when I unlock the car. I have to play with the mirror control in the door and eventually I can physically push it open despite resistence. It is a pain and I had that mirror replaced for similar reasons about 40,000 kilometers ago.

Nevermind, I see this issue has been addressed. Just switch off until next dealer visit.

Same and it just started doing it again

That's why I turned this function off. When I need them retracted (not often) do it manually by rotating the switch all the way clockwise.

I kind of need them to go in, so back to manually pushing them in

Does that mean you had it fixed previously or it just started acting up? There were a lot of problems with the retractable mirrors about 5 - 6 yrs ago but that problem seems to have gone away. Water was getting inside the housing.

I have a 2019, and it's acting up again and the drivers side

My drivers side was replaced but now acts up periodically. It's considered a 2020 here inColombia but probaly the same as a 2019 stateside. As it now works "most" of the time I'm not messing with it anymore.
