Door latch recall ???

Took the 5 in today to get the recall performed.

I got it home, and I really can't tell what they did.

Does anyone know if it is an internal latch that is replaced, or something that you can see with the door opened?

It was some s*** about the latch freezing and the door not being able to shut or something wasnt it? Those japs shoulda thought about that before they started selling the thing!

The search function on the forums has been broken since the forum crash (or so I've heard). It seems to only be broken for some people, or just really intermittently

Apparently nothing from the link you provided.... Search is flaky right now. If it worked for you doesn't mean it worked for the next guy. Treating him like a tard isn't necessary.

I tried on three separate times to use the search function.

All three times I got the page not available error response, so I figured the search was down.

I'm not sure what else you'd have me do, I honestly believed I had met the obligation to try to answer my own question before making another thread/post.
