Dont buy from vis!!!!!!

the distributer did a great job but vis sucks ass!!!!! when i received my hood i had a nice scratch by the spray nozzle which was fine caused i probally could have buffed it out but now i have 3 cracks by one of my vents!! so i e-mail vis and their reply was to have the hood re-clearcoated!! that pissed me off so i called them!! ya first of all their customer service sucked and the guy i talked to was b****y as hell and said they dont warrenty any of their products and pretty much they dont care!!!! so i got pissed and hung up on them!
the wait for ww vented hood is worth it!!

ive been hearing the same problems with other people with the same hood.

also, some ppl dont have hood pins to bolt it down well and because of no pins, it causes more cracks on the hood. because of the amount of tension on certain parts of the hood caused by flapping in the wind, it causes other parts to crack.

my hood arrived perfect, and the only problem to date is, two screws for the baffle over the vents, vibrated loose, and are now m.i.a.

Well, at the Carlisle event last weekend, there was an orange MSP with the Evo hood, and it looked like ass. The hood did not line up right, the fron edge looked to be off bt about a quarter of an inch from where the factory one rolls to the upper grille.

I have seen more and more complaints regarding VIS, not just with the Mazda products, but in thier whole lineup. Scoobie guys, Nissan guys, and SRT guys are all upset due to the lack of quality control and failure to rectify any issues after the sale.

when people buy and complain they dont get jack...

when those people tell everyone else...everyone else says, oh what the hell...its so cheap!

then those people find out how much it sucks and the cycle restarts...
everyone will cotinue to buy cheap parts(shrug)

I guess I got a few more week to wait for my fiber images hood

no other evo styles at that time dood, i wudnt mind dropping 800, but no one wants ions... its hard to find 10 ppl who wanna drop 800.

ah, if that was the case, then yeah, i guess you had no other choice...

with the Fiber images hoods coming out, there will be yet another option...

I got in with 9 other people on the EVO8 style GB, but I think they are going to continue producing them and AutoRnD will be carrying them(also FI OEM hoods) but dont quote me on that

i actually had the ww hood on order but i needed a hood before shows this yr and ww was way backordered and they could not give me a date i could get it so i bought the vis!! looked great when i got it (besides the scratch) but now it sucks..... cracking and the clearcoat looks like ass after washing and waxing so much!! the ww hood i will get soon and i am trying to convince them to make a trunk lid so i dont buy the vis!!

i ****** said it. I HATE VIS . their customer service is a ****** disgrace. dont know how they are still in business. i ordered a hood from them and they sent me the wrong one . dealt with them for 2 1/2 months, and still no right hood. said **** it and got money back. last i found out was they didint even carry the hood i wanted. bottom line is that i will never do business with them, everyone that answers phones there are the dumbest people alive. every single one of them. sorry they r screwing u all i can say is jump on this group buy, or anyone thats interested.
