Dont buy from vis!!!!!!

actually it was probally my turbo..... the wax i use comes off so easy it is not even funny (props to meguires new nxt wax) and they are just small stress cracks but what pissed me off was their dumbasses who answer the phone!! honestly i will probally get their trunk since they are the only ones who make it and i contacted ww and they said they dont plan to !! i am just very picky abt my car and nobody else but me will probally notice anything wrong!! since in a few mths my car is being repainted anyway i will have them fix the hood and paint some of it too!! just telling everybody who just wants to put the hood on and do nothing else with it to beware that their is problems and if you find them 6 days later you are stuck with fixing them!!

that is just from what I have heard, im sure the hoods will be fine. never owned anything from FI so cant really go by experience. I have never talked to VIS on the phone my guy goes down and picks up my stuff for me. That sux that they are like that, VIS is well known I hope they dont think they are the s*** just cuz they are VIS. If I had to deal with them directly I probably would be complaining about their customer service to! hey joka maybe there is away to attach the heat sheild on the underside of the hood to help with heat! I dont know if the proteges have it but the MSP does.

yeah, Ive ehard more about problems with their customer service than anything...although, a few pics of severly blemished or non-fitting hoods do stick out in my mind...

I guess that's just the way it goes with the aftermarket, especially on an itme as delicate(well delicate to make perfectly) as CF...here's hopin my FI hood is perfect

I'll be interested to see what the warranty entails when i get my hood...Like If I have to pay to ship the hood back, or pay shipping for a new hood, etc...you always hear the horror stories.
The way i see it, you pay for the item, and if there is ever a problem during the warranty period, it gets fixed in a timely and FREE manner...Im not accusing a FI of anything, I dont know their policy, thats jsut what i expect

I would expect to fight with them or any company if problems develop after more than a month...
