Doing a Custom FMIC

I'd like to see other people's Custom IC piping...any pics would be cool. I might have to end up saving for a full set-up If I can't find some piping that can work with what I'm lookin at....

i went custom and i'd have to agree that saving up for a premade unit is the best bet

also... just talked to the ebay guy. there is no bending necessary for the aluminum piping kit but some cuting may be necessary (comeon... it's aluminum... hack saw and a file will do the trick!) i'll be purchasing at the LATEST thursday so as soon as it comes in i'll do a writeup, pics, and etc.

man i've been soooo busy with trying to find a new job and school i completly forgot about this. i'll take some pics, but believe you me, it took 3 of us 8 hours to finally get this thing to fit right, plus som REALLLLLYYYY ghetto work.

When you guys cut the piping, are you rolling the ends (creating a hump) for the silicone couplers? If not, sometimes the pipes and couplers can blow apart under pressure. There is a tool that you can get (not sure where, though) that bulges the pipe out a little to give a ledge for the clamps to hold onto.

the tool is expensive, i just used a plier and bent up the edges... a month and a half on 10 PSi and haven't had any problems except with the BOV (which has no rolled edges, it's really ghetto.) i'll finally have some pictures to explain everything probbaly tomorrow since i finally found my digital camera.

by the way that was a clevar little characature of the piping lol
