.. A wolf? I dunno. The forehead isn't broad enough, the ears are too big, doesn't look like the legs are the right length and size, and there just isn't enough of that underlying muscularity. Plus, the coat type and coloring is just all wrong. LOL -- sorry, but wolves have been a mild obsession of mine since I was a kid. Read more books on them than I could begin to count. He is 1/2 Dalmation and 1/2 Great Dane. Thinks and acts like scoobydoo. Scared of EVERYTHING but ALWAYS hungry. And he's about 80 pounds. Best dog we ever had though. VERY affectionate and VERY well house trained. Sits on command, does not snatch food from you (instead he waits until you leave the bisquits or cookies alone on the stove...lol), doesn't have accidents inside, can wait 10 hours without having to "go", only barks and growls when he hears cars in the driveway or people near the property (not when they're further away or constant yapping), walks on a leash without pulling, and does not chew up clothes or furniture (unless it's a belt made out of leather.. he thinks our belts are rawhide dog chews.. lol). He's very attentive and seems to understand what you tell him. Now if only I can get him to fetch my beers like that other dog on that commercial.....
German Shepherds rock!! That is my favorite breed of dog. I don't have one any more, but I have a neighbor with a white one and another neighbor with two--one long haired, all black except his belly (Tan), and the other is all tan, with shorter hair. I miss my Satie. She was the best!
