Does your Mazdasspeed have this part in the console?

I was cleaning my Speed3 the other day and noticed there is no felt in the lower center console box. The upper "smaller box" does have the felt. But the lower does not and things rattle around in there like crazy.

So I looked online for the part. It does show a felt pad for the regular 3. But when I called the parts guy here in my nieghborhood he said the parts system does not show the lower felt NUMBER 6 in this picture.

Do any fellow speed3's have this felt?

I cut out a piece of a left over mouse pad. Works really nice - so nice I did that with the cupholder cutouts too

Oops, that piece I do not have. I thought it was the top piece.

i noticed this when i bought the car and mentioned it. we then checked another ms3 they had and it was missing this piece as well so i thought it was just normal.
