Does anybody do this to their wheels

I read that if you use a little bit of wax on your rims it helps repel break dust.I'm wondering how well this works and how often you should do this.

I do it to the face of the rim sometimes. I only notice a difference if I rinse my car off with a pressure washer mid week. Anytime it rains or I let dust accumulate I don't notice any difference.

What about the inside half of the rims?I got dust that will never come off my wheels.(i'm gettin new wheels)......i can't believe i spelled brake break.

waxing helps... youll still have scrub on occasion.

I was just thinking would cooking spray help? Seems like if it prevents the food from sticking it'd prevent some of the brake dust from sticking. It might be flamable though.

I just wash mine with Shining Monkey D-spec car wash and spray them with detailing spray.

umm i no that if u use the spray on foam on tire cleaner and if some of that stuff gets on ur rims, the rims will get double the brake dust.. lol hope that helped
