audi had a concept a few years back that looked quite similar to this. i like the looks, but it's pretty much a rip-off. (didn't some chief audi designer go over to daimerchrysler??)
magnum? like the condom? hmmm... i guess I understand, I mean its a Dodge so there are inherent condom qualities:

cheaply produced
major flaws allowed in about 4% of them (or more for a Dodge)
provides a barrier between you and the experience of (driving)
IMO... I like the idea of a beastly 5-door but it seems to be akin more to the old faux-wood panel station wagons than a P5.

Congratulations on being another Close Minded MSP Owner, a shame Mazda will NOT back there products.....Took 2 Model Years of the MSP to acknowledge a problem with the ECU Trims......Causing your Dreaded Hesitation. Betcha that Dodge doesnt have that in its 4% Flaw......
Sorry those people who cannot accept other Car companies can make nice vehicles outside of what they are interested in need to keep there mouths shut. Giving your Opinion is allowed but to dislike a car by Brand name alone....Got to hell. :mad:

I can appreciate what Dodge has done for stock engine expectations. I just grew up near a Dodge plant and grew up to despise what Dodge is. The stock engines of Dodges are nice and I will give them props on that but their interiors are crap. Beautiful and plush to begin with and crappy to live with. I won't bash a company for testing the limits, that's one of the reasons that I went with Mazda (the designs and the colors are at the edge of the import-driven revolution IMO). I respect Honda, Nissan, Toyota (if hard pressed), and their respective "luxury brands", along with Ford, most german engineering. I love cars, always will, always have. I just don't like Dodge and when I saw the name I thought it could be made into a joke. I'm sorry, I'm not funny and I guess I'll have to deal with that. BLAH!

well mr Si, the only thing I can congratulate u on is having senna quotes in your sig, at least you recognize what is possibly the best driver this planet has seen, maybe shumacher is coming close now.
he wasnt being close minded, he was going off of previous crap put out by didge, like the srt-4 , yes the engine is great and should be able to hold some nice power numbers but the rest of the car is still s***, as many magazines have already said, fun to drive in a straight line but the interioir and exterior still scream rental car.
A car is not just its power numbers but handling and driver feddback are almost as important as style. which didge have much of right now.
Personally the comment I would believe the most is about the audi engineer working for dodge now and this would be why that design posted above looks like a direct conversion of the audi and VW wagons slammed together with a chrysler engine and they cal it their new special design.
Right now mazda is puting out nothing but quality products, their planned line-up(mazda3,6,9 rx-8 rx-7) is going to be damn hard to match by other car companies since the quality in those cars is as phenominal as the pricing and deals the dealerships have been offering.
Find me a car that compars to the p5 in all of the its attributes that is in the same price range, I know I could find jack s*** in 2 months of car shopping in any car for the less than 15k price I paid for my 03.5 with 10 miles on it.
Its not that we are close minded it is that we have a love for our cars as most car owners should, but unfortunately dont get to experience.

I should add everything above is my opinion, if you dont like it or disagree, GOOD< i wouldnt want others to all have my opinion on things.
also while I do think the design is a little ripped I do like it, I think with those power numbers in that car it could be a new age Drag racing hearse =P

I agree with you, Never said that power is the only aspect of the Driving Experience my Reference was made at his Comment, You would be better off buying another Brand....
Maybe I should have been more Clear, I have an appreciation for all Car companies and what they have to offer to the Consumer. To block off one brand due to a Few bad cars here and there is nonsense......I am sure all Car Manufacturers have cars they wish they didn't produce......
Those kind of Comments piss me off to no End....Everyone is entitled to there own Opinion, but if you dont like something about it say that not just oh its a Dodge, poop on it.....

The big three vehicles are crap when it comes to quality. I am talking about overall quality. Something you would buy for the family. You don't want to have your wife stranded somewhere with your 2 year old daughter, right. They can't seem to get the quality down.
Now when it comes to HP, yes the big three has got something. Personnaly I like muscle cars. But these cars always need repair. Something I don't mind doing for a hobby.
But for a family car FORGET IT MAN.

For the record, (hitit) (hitit) (hitit). Its awsome to see the strong stance of a Detroit Muscle car on a wagon.
Doggone has it right. The big three have always been a reliabilty hazzard. They are just not up to par with say a Toyota or a Honda. We can build the space shuttle but can't make cars, it's been that way for quite awhile.
