Do you go full throttle specifically to "clear-out" the exhaust system or carbon deposits in the engine? Do you believe in it?
Do you have any evidence (Even if anecdotal) That this works?
How do you do it? How often?
I usually drive at low RPM and used to only go full throttle maybe every week or two max. I then noticed that my exhaust tips were getting dirtier, especially after high RPM operation. After a hard pull all the way to redline, I no longer noticed dark run off coming out my exhaust tips. I have since began going WOT more often.
I usually use second gear and don't exceed 5000RPM. The engine usually doesn't sound like it wants to go higher. The engine sounds and operates more aggressively/smoother for some period of time afterwards and i'm noticing less run-off on my exhaust tips.
