display gear while in Drive

Is there a hack or codes or options to get the CX-5 to display gear while in Drive like the 3 does? (or did)

With a auto i find flicking over to manual displays the gear number, previous manual would do it all the time.
Not read of any hack, but you soon learn to know what gear you're in by the revs and speed.

If you install the paddle shifter, than you know in which gear is it.
